A-Level Physics Excellence at Lumen Christi

Daniel O'Reilly was recently awarded the Institute of Physics in Ireland medal for achieving top place in the 2013 A-level physics exam.

At a special assembly held in his honour at the school, Liz Conlon, Education and Outreach Advisor of IOP Ireland, commended Daniel on his achievement. She also praised the school and in particular, Daniel's physics teacher John Dunne, on the quality of physics teaching at the school, given that the second highest physics A-level mark for 2013 went to another of Mr Dunne's pupils, Owen Bradley.

Daniel is currently studying Chemistry at Imperial College London.
