The Royal Irish Academy, The Institute of Physics in Ireland and the Royal Society of Chemistry co-hosted an event on ‘The Future of Graduate Education in Physics and Chemistry’, Nov 18th 2009 at the RIA. This 1-day workshop featured examples of graduate schools including the Scottish University Physics Alliance and the Irish nanoelectronics school, INSPIRE and had industry input.
It was aimed at physicists and chemists with experience of supervising PhD students.
