Introduces the concepts of atoms, electrons, nuclei etc. using animation. It explains simply how uranium is different from other fuels, and illustrates the basic steps in the nuclear fission process. A clear outline is given of how electricity is produced in a nuclear reactor. The style of presentation and fairly basic approach make this video particularly suitable for younger pupils.
