Promoting the role of physics in modern society

For the last few years the Institute of Physics in Ireland has worked on a Strategic Plan. This plan provides the focus necessary for promoting the key role of physics in modern society, in the areas of education, health, the environment, technology and scientific literacy:

The Strategic Plan is in line with the Strategic Plan 2004-2008 developed by the Institute of Physics, which is outlined in Physics World, October 2003, p 50-51.
