IOP Ireland silver medal for first place in physics 2009 Leaving Certificate awarded to Rebecca Fenney Barry

The IOP silver medal for the highest level of achievement in physics in the 2009 Leaving Certificate physics examination was presented by Dr Eilish McLoughlin, Chair IOP Ireland Education Group to Rebecca Feeney-Barry from St Columba's College. 

The medal was presented at a ceremony at the RDS on 1st February where the Tyndall Lecture was being presented. Ms Feeny Barry is now studying science in Trinity College Dublin.
